Saw action in 11 meets in his final year as a Bruin โ€ฆ Indoor: Opened his season at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, where he finished fifth in the 200m (21.62) โ€ฆ Posted a season-best 200m time of 21.32 at the MPSF Indoor Championships, helping him to a sixth-place finish โ€ฆ Reached the finals of the 60m dash at the MPSF Championships, ultimately taking eighth with a time of 6.89 โ€ฆ Notched a season-best time of 6.79 in the prelims of the 60m dash at the MPSF Championships โ€ฆ Outdoor: Helped UCLAโ€™s 4x400m team take first place at the Willie Williams Classic with a time of 3:08.94 โ€ฆ The foursome later improved that time to 3:08.86, resulting in sixth place at the Mt. Attended Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas, where he earned three letters in track and one in football โ€ฆ Ran for coach Leon Paul โ€ฆ Capped off his prep career with a state title in the 200m and helped lead the 4x100m and the 4x200m to state titles โ€ฆ Guided Kennedale to a state championship, district, area and regional titles โ€ฆ During his junior season helped lead the 4x200m team to a regional record โ€ฆ Led the 4x100m team to a state title in 2013 โ€ฆ Has run personal bests of 10.33 in the 100m and 20.83 in the 200m.
