Lenz and Belanger finish second and third, respectively, in Sunday's platform event.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Wrapping up a successful outing at the Trojan Diving Invitational, two Bruins finished in the top three in the platform event on Sunday afternoon.  Just 3.85 points behind Madison Witt of USC, UCLA senior Annika Lenz checked in at second with a 518.60.

Bruin sophomore Eloise Belanger posted a 499.15 to finish third.  Also placing in the top 10, sophomore Kat Friese scored a 448.10 to finish seventh out of 12 divers.  With their scores, all four Bruins qualified for NCAA Zones in the platform event.

In yesterday's 1-meter event, Belanger recorded the top mark, followed by Ciara Monahan in second.  Lenz placed fourth in the 1-meter and fifth in Friday's 3-meter event.

Next up, the UCLA swim team heads to Monterey Park, Calif., for the A3 Performance Invitational.  The three-day event runs from November 17-19.  UCLA diving is back in action next month when it travels to Georgia for the UGA Invitational.
