BOULDER, Colo. - A new season has arrived for the UCLA men's golf team, which is at Boulder Country Club this weekend for the 2017 Pac-12 Conference Championships. The 72-hole tournament will run from Friday through Sunday on the par-70, 7,129-yard layout.

Unlike most regular-season events, the Pac-12s will be a six-scoring-five tournament. The Bruin lineup will consist of juniors Tyler Collier and Corey Shaun, sophomores Phil Delisi, Cole Madey and Patrick Murphy and freshman Hidetoshi Yoshihara. Friday's play will feature 36 holes, followed by 18 on both Saturday and Sunday. Friday's first round will begin at 8:36 a.m. MT/7:36 a.m. PT in the order of Delisi, Shaun, Murphy, Collier, Madey and Yoshihara. The second round will start at approximately 12:45 p.m. MT/11:45 a.m. PT. Live scoring will be available here. Live streaming on Friday and Saturday will be available here.

Yoshihara leads the Bruins in scoring average at 71.7 and is coming off his first collegiate victory at The Maxwell (April 14-15). He overcame an opening-round 73 to post a 4-under 66 in his second round to hold the overnight lead. An even-par 70 in his final round cemented his victory by one shot (-1, 209). Yoshihara has four Top 10s on the season, finishing fourth at The Hayt (Feb. 24-26, -4, 212), tied for fifth at the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 13-14, -5, 211) and in a tie for sixth at the Gifford Collegiate (Nov. 7, -6, 138). Yoshihara has 10 under-par rounds and six in the 60s. He has a pair of 66s on the season, including a 6-under round in the final round at the Gifford.
