EUGENE, Ore. - The second-ranked Bruins dropped a 3-0 decision to #6 Oregon on Sunday in the Pac-12 series finale at Jane Sanders Stadium.

Redshirt sophomore Rachel Garcia (11-1) struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings, giving up three runs, four hits and one walk. Offensively, the Bruins (25-2, 1-2 Pac-12) had six hits, with senior Kylee Perez recording a pair.

The Bruins stranded a pair of runners in the first, one in the fifth, one in the sixth and two in the seventh, while also having a runner thrown out at home in the sixth.

Oregon (25-5, 2-1 Pac-12) was also held off the scoreboard until the bottom of the seventh, when Shannon Rhodes hit a three-run, walk-off homer to give the Ducks the series win.

The Bruins look to get back on track with their first Pac-12 home series, hosting Oregon State (Saturday, March 24 - Monday, March 26). The first two games will be 6 p.m. starts, followed by a 1 p.m. first pitch for the series finale. Free live audio will be available for all three games at UCLABruins.com.
