ERIE, Colo. - The Bruins finished up play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Tuesday, as freshman Bryan Wiyang Teoh recorded the first Top 10 showing of his brief career.
Teoh shot a 2-under 70 in his final trip around the Colorado National Golf Club to post a T-10 finish at even-par 216. He made three birdies on No. 6, 7 and 13 to go with just one bogey.
Freshman Ahmed Ali recorded an even-par 72 on Tuesday and tied for 38th (+7, 223). He made four birdies on No. 7, 12, 13 and 16 to go with four bogeys. Senior Phil Delisi tied for 51st (+9, 225), shooting a 3-over 75 with two birdies (No. 16 and 7), three bogeys and a double. Freshman Rory Feng tied for 69th (+13, 229), making six bogeys and a double in a final-round 80 (+8).
The Bruins are back in action towards the end of next month, heading to Alpharetta, Ga. for the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate (Oct. 19-21).
