LOS ANGELES - No. 3 UCLA broke 198 for the first time this season, defeating No. 25 Arizona, 198.025-194.975, in front of 10,323 fans in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom.
Bruin stars Kyla Ross and Katelyn Ohashi scored perfect 10s for the second consecutive meet, earning a 10 on vault and floor exercise, respectively. Ross recorded another all-around career-high, posting the fourth-highest all-around total in school history, 39.850.
UCLA was on fire from the start, scoring a season-high 49.425 on vault. Ohashi led off with a 9.775 on her first vault in nearly a year. Felicia Hano had a near stick on her Yurchenko 1.5, scoring 9.9. Freshman Sekai Wright tied her career-best with a 9.875, and Nia Dennis added a 9.775 before Ross nailed her Yurchenko 1.5 for her second perfect 10 in a row.

Ross now has four perfect 10s this season and nine in her career, tied with Kate Richardson and Vanessa Zamarripa for fourth-most in school history. Her back-to-back 10s on vault were the first since Zamarripa did it on Mar. 17, 2013 and Mar. 23, 2013.
Uneven bars saw more Bruin magic, as all five counting scores went 9.9 or higher for a team total of 49.625. Dennis led off with a 9.900, and Margzetta Frazier set a new career-high with a 9.950. Hano scored a new career-best with a 9.875, and Norah Flatley and Madison Kocian followed with a pair of 9.900s. Ross nearly received a second perfect 10 but had to settle for a 9.975.
Ross led UCLA again on balance beam with a 9.925, but hers and Grace Glenn's were the only marks above 9.825. The Bruins nearly had to count a fall, but Ohashi saved a possible fall on her flight series, wobbling but staying on the beam for a final score of 9.8. UCLA finished with a 49.225, for a three-event total of 148.275.
Needing to score 49.725 on floor exercise to break 198, the Bruins did a tad better, scoring a season-best 49.750, the fourth-highest floor total in school history. Frazier brought the house down with her 9.925 leadoff routine, and Gracie Kramer matched it with a 9.925. Ross, who portrays the 10.0 thief in her floor routine, earned another 10 from one of the judges and a final score of 9.950, tying her career-high. Hano added a season-high 9.950, and Ohashi closed with her third 10 of the season and her eighth career 10.
