Bruins Shift to Match Play at Therese Hession Regional Challenge

LOS ANGELES – The No. 4 UCLA women's golf team begins match play at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club Saturday, Feb. 3.
 
The Bruins square off against Baylor in five singles matches Saturday morning in a shotgun start. UCLA will play the winner or loser of Florida versus Pepperdine.
 
The tournament format and schedule were adjusted last night, Friday, Feb. 2, in order avoid inclement weather. The tournament was originally scheduled for 54-hole stroke play across three days from Feb. 4-6.

History at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge
UCLA has won the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, formally known as the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, four times before, last during the 2017-2018 season. A Bruin has medaled at the event four times as well: Lilia Vu (2017-2018), Bronte Law (2014-2015), Erynne Lee (2012-2013) and Charlotte Mayorkas (2003-2004).
