The Bruins (41-5) defeated the Golden Bears (13-33) by scores of 13-5 and 9-1, both in five innings. Senior Jordan Woolery delivered the top performance of the day, going a combined 6-for-7 with four home runs, 10 RBIs and five runs scored across the two wins.
Unbelievable.

6-for-6, 4 HR and 10 RBIs today for @jordanwooleryy.

The first of Woolery's four home runs was a three-run shot in the bottom of the second inning, pushing her season RBI total to 93 and breaking Stacey Nuveman's 26-year-old record of 91 set in 1999. Sophomore Rylee Slimp also rounded the bases on the play, recording her 76th run of the season to break Natasha Watley's program record of 75 set in 2001.
ย
Woolery's 10 RBIs on the day brought her to the century mark for the season. She became the fifth player in NCAA Division I history to record 100 RBIs in a single season and the first since 2011 (Christi Orgeron, Louisiana). Woolery's four home runs increased her season total to 30. She joined fellow senior Megan Grant in the 30-home run club, marking the first time in NCAA Division I history that two teammates have each hit 30 home runs in the same season.
Name a better duo, we'll wait ????@ChefMeganCookin and @jordanwooleryy are the first teammates in @NCAASoftball history to each hit 30+ homers in the same season. #GoBruins pic.twitter.com/gdqFPrT8o6

ย
Woolery is just the second player in NCAA Division I history to record at least 30 home runs and 100 RBIs in the same season, joining Arizona's Laura Espinoza in 1995 (37 HR, 128 RBI). Now batting a team-best .529, she is on pace to become the only player in NCAA Division I history to hit above .500 while also recording 30 home runs and 100 RBIs in a single season.
ย
Woolery has also recorded the 20th 30-home run season in NCAA Division I history.
ย
UCLA hit a combined nine home runs, increasing its NCAA-leading season total to 154. Woolery's second home run of Game 1 marked UCLA's 148th of the season, breaking the Big Ten single-season record of 147 set by Ohio State in 2025.
ย
The Bruins also set a program single-season record for runs scored with 520 (previously 499 in 2015) and total bases with 1052 (previously 1042 in 1999).
ย
Woolery now has eight career multi-home run games, including five this season, with today's remarkable performance.
ย
Grant made history as well, tying Nuveman's program single-season home run record of 31 with a solo shot in the fourth inning of Game 2. Grant's homer marked the 80th of her career. She joins Nuveman (90) as the only Bruins to eclipse 80 home runs in a career.
ย
Slimp broke UCLA's single-season runs record with her 76th, doing so in front of Watley, who was in attendance. Both players wore No. 29 during their UCLA careers.
ย
Slimp finished the day 4-for-6 with four runs scored and hit her fifth leadoff home run of the season to open Game 2.
ย
Six Bruins accounted for UCLA's nine home runs on Saturday. In addition to Grant (31), Woolery (30) and Slimp (9), Bri Alejandre (17), Alexis Ramirez (12) and Jolyna Lamar (11) each hit one.
ย
Senior Taylor Tinsley delivered the Bruins' top performance in the circle with a complete-game victory in Game 2. She finished her 5.0-inning outing with one run (coming on a solo homer), three hits and one walk with three strikeouts. Tinsley improved her record to 24-3.
ย
UCLA's record-setting day was capped by its three seniors โ Grant, Tinsley and Woolery โ each receiving a Golden Ticket from the Athletes Unlimited Softball League, symbolizing their guaranteed selection in the 2026 AUSL College Draft.
