The Bruins (47-7) will face No. 1 seed Nebraska in the championship game Saturday at 10 a.m. PT. UCLA advanced to its fourth straight conference tournament title game and second consecutive Big Ten championship game appearance.
The run-rule victory over the Badgers (32-19)ย marked UCLA's 27th of the season, which is one shy of tying the program record set just last season.
ย
Senior Megan Grant tied the NCAA Division I single-season home run record with her 37th homer of the year in the top of the second inning. Grant matched the mark set by Arizona's Laura Espinoza in 1995.
