Armijo was a two-sport athlete at Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas ... was a four-year varsity letterwinner in softball, playing first base, outfield and pitcher ... also earned four varsity letters on the track and field team (shot put and discus) ... named 2020 team Most Valuable Player, also earning the "Big Stick Award" as Offensive Player of the Year ... in the COVID-19 shortened season, hit .567 with seven home runs, six doubles and 26 RBI in 12 games ... finished second in the '20 DFW High School Fast Pitch Home Run Derby ... named 2020 Plano East Senior HS Female Athlete of the Year ... earned 2017 and 2018 All-Area First Team accolades ... was a 2016-2017 NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete ... helped the Panthers to a Regional semifinal appearance in 2017, as she was named District 6-6A Newcomer of the Year and DFW Freshman Pitcher of the Year ... coached in softball by Cindy Mosteller ... played travel ball with Impact Gold DFW Middlebrook ... helped her team to a second-place finish at 2020 Triple Crown Nationals and fifth-place finishes at the 2018 and 2019 IDT-Colorado and 2018 PGF tournaments ... was a Regional finalist in the discus three years in a row and District 9-6A Champion in 2019, setting numerous high school records in the event.
